Neil has continued to keep track of Joan, and begins to plan a reunion between the two.

The plane motor dies, Lane grabs Marion, and jumps out of the plane with their single parachute. The pair safely lands, and they are captured by a gang of criminals. They use their wits and brawn to defeat the gang and stop their use of a stolen ray gun.
